Debra Adelaide is the author of the novels The Household Guide to Dying, which was sold around the world, Serpent Dust and The Hotel Albatross. She is the editor of several themed collections of fiction and memoirs including Acts of Dog and the bestselling Motherlove series. As well as a creative writer, she has been a freelance researcher, editor, book reviewer and literary award judge. Debra is now Associate Professor at the University of Technology, Sydney where she teaches creative writing. Her latest collection of stories is Letter to George Clooney.
