The film is like the best episode of Homeland you’ve never seen, except that it’s much more convincing. SIGHT AND SOUND
Two young lovers are torn apart by the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and scaling the separation wall becomes a common event for young Palestinian baker Omar, who must risk his safety to see his love, Nadia. When politics and love become inextricably entangled and the line between friend and enemy blurs, the loyalty of life-long bonds are tested. Omar compassionately and objectively examines the toll of oppression, revenge and the intricacies of trust and betrayal.
