Contemporary Music

The National

Fri 14 Feb 2014

Supported by Luluc
It’s music to squeeze your eyes shut, waft airily around like a Terrence Malick heroine and occasionally thrust out a wild salute to … Sensational. THE INDEPENDENT (UK)

For one night only The National make a triumphant return to Perth following their latest knockout album Trouble Will Find Me.

The Brooklyn based luminaries are a powerful and poetic force, their triumphant vignettes resonating live with achingly beautiful imagery.

One of the most enigmatic bands in the world in one of the most beautiful outdoor settings. Book very early!

The National are supported by Melbourne duo Luluc who have called Brooklyn home since 2010 and now return to Australia with their critically acclaimed debut Dear Hamlyn. Their intimate acoustic tunes nod soothingly to loss and departure, while also revealing a gentle warmth, like sunshine on a winter landscape.
