Anchored by Glasper’s masterful, hypnotic work on piano … it’s a sensuous and smoky affair. LOS ANGELES TIMES
Fusing jazz, hip-hop and RnB, Grammy Award winner Robert Glasper’s sound erases boundaries. Playing tracks from his genre-defying fifth album Black Radio 2, he will captivate. Joining Glasper onstage is soul-jazz pioneer Roy Ayers, who will delve deep into the psychedelic jazz roots of his musical legacy. Glasper and Ayers are leaders in experimentation and this unique collaboration promises to be no different – surprising and inspiring.
Glasper and Ayers will be joined on stage by Lonnie Liston Smith and Greg Wilson. Greg Wilson will also present a solo DJ set as part of the line up, bringing his trademark selector’s style to the stage.
