Inspiring and stunningly original. ROLLING STONE

Avant-pop composer and multi-instrumentalist Julia Holter harnesses the energy coursing through her music to make you feel truly alive. Forceful, stirring and cinematic, these are melodies of a unique blend. Part indie rock, part cinematic swell, with a healthy dash of electronica and soaring vocals, Holter makes a playful and ethereal statement all her own. Hear charming sounds from the new Loud City Song, her most critically acclaimed album to date.

Classic indie pop whose chiming guitars and lingering melancholy will be familiar to fans of Matt Mondanile’s other band, Real Estate. THE AGE

Ducktails began as the solo endeavour of Matt Mondanile from New Jersey’s Real Estate. Taking a tangential turn away from the solo home-recording of past releases toward the more collaborative environment of the studio, Ducktails are set to release The Flower Lane. Matt Mondanile roped in close friends and colleagues to make something more adventurous yet easy-going. These are expressive pop songs, bright and expansive, that venture into saxophone leads, synth lines and sophisticated piano accompaniment.
